Warehouse Attendant

Eurest, a division of Compass Group, is hiring a full-time Warehouse Attendant to work at the Mohegan Sun location in Uncasville, Connecticut. This role supports foodservice and facility operations by receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials, supplies, and equipment across the operation. Prior warehouse or receiving experience is preferred.

The position is based at 1 Mohegan Sun Boulevard, Uncasville, CT 06382. This is a first-shift, full-time role with days and hours that may vary. The pay range is between $17.50 and $19.00 per hour. Employees receive a free meal with every shift and free parking.

Role Overview

The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing inventory to ensure that foodservice and operational teams have the supplies they need. This includes receiving shipments, organizing stock, assembling orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records while following all safety and food handling standards.

Key Responsibilities

You will read work orders, production schedules, and requisitions to determine what items need to be moved, gathered, or distributed. You will receive and transport materials from delivery areas to storage locations and place goods on shelves, racks, bins, or refrigerated storage according to product type, size, or code. You will pick and assemble orders from stock, place them on pallets or shelves, and move them to packing or shipping areas. You will label materials, open containers, count and weigh items, and record all inventory movements. You will maintain inventory records using a computer system and prepare parcels or supplies for internal use or shipment. You may also transport stored items using a vehicle when required and complete requisition forms to request additional supplies. You will keep stock arranged in the proper sequence for production or service teams and perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Safety and Food Handling

You must follow all company safety policies, including the use of cut-resistant gloves when handling sharp tools, heat-resistant gloves when handling hot equipment, slip-resistant footwear, and proper lifting techniques. You must also follow HACCP food safety standards and maintain safe temperatures and handling procedures for all food-related items.
