The Hillman Group is hiring a 2nd Shift Warehouse Outbound Picker for its Belton, Missouri facility. This position supports daily warehouse operations by moving materials and finished products to the correct areas using powered industrial equipment while ensuring speed, accuracy, and safety in every task.
The work schedule runs Monday through Thursday from 3:30 pm to 1:30 am and Friday from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm, with overtime available when required. The starting pay rate is $20.50 per hour plus a shift differential. The expected start date for this role is February 16, 2026.
Role Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, moving, replenishing, and staging inventory throughout the facility. You will work with pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, and RF scanners to ensure materials are stored, picked, and transferred correctly. Your performance directly impacts production flow, order accuracy, and shipping timelines.
Key Responsibilities
You will operate powered industrial equipment to move inventory and finished products throughout the warehouse. You will load and unload trucks, retrieve incoming materials from the receiving dock, and place them into bulk storage locations. You will provide timely replenishment of materials to workstations and pick the correct products for orders based on system instructions. You will transfer completed orders to designated shipping areas, stack empty pallets in assigned zones, and use both manual and motorized pallet jacks as required. You will use RF scanners to track inventory and rely on your experience to solve basic operational issues while reporting more serious problems to supervisors. You will follow all safety and health procedures, including wearing required protective equipment and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions immediately.
Required Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Material handling experience is strongly preferred. Forklift certification is required. You must be able to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, and Drexel equipment. Familiarity with part numbering systems is an advantage. You must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions accurately.
