As a Warehouse Associate, you play a critical role in keeping operations running efficiently. You are responsible for filling, packaging, and shipping customer orders accurately and on time while ensuring that incoming products are received, inspected, and handled correctly throughout their lifecycle. The warehouse team is essential to First Supply’s success and is driven by a strong commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Associates use radio-frequency scanning equipment to pick, package, and ship orders with speed and accuracy. You will process incoming products, inspect for damage, and ensure that inventory is recorded correctly. You must be able to determine the status of an order at any time and follow special instructions when required. You will handle customer and internal phone calls professionally, take accurate messages, and route inquiries to the appropriate person. All tag and hold procedures must be followed, with hold areas kept clear and organized. Outbound materials must be labeled correctly, and system records must always match the actual items picked. You will also maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse while reporting any quality or inventory discrepancies to management.
Qualifications
This role requires solid computer skills and the ability to learn First Supply’s internal business systems. You must have strong organizational skills and be able to manage paperwork and time effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Experience using handheld RF scanning devices is preferred. You must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds as part of your daily duties.
