🚚 Job Responsibilities
- Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions using GPS and computer equipment to minimise fuel consumption and carbon emissions
- Apply mountain driving expertise as required
- Maintain professionalism in all customer service interactions
- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy when required
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
- Ensure proper tarping and security of all cargo at all times
🏵 Required Credentials & Licences
- AZ Class Licence
- Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
- Driver’s Licence — Class 1 or A
📋 Documentation Knowledge
- Driver logbook
- Trip reports
🛡 Security & Safety Requirements
- Valid passport required
- Driving record check (abstract) required
- Drug test required
