About the Role
As a Logistics Associate, you will be responsible for handling, storing, packing, and shipping Zalando products using modern warehouse technology. You will work with handheld scanners and digital systems to receive goods, store items, prepare customer orders, and load shipments for delivery.
Since this warehouse is newly opening, you will also take part in testing new processes and improving workflows. Your feedback will directly shape how this new logistics center operates.
Key Responsibilities
You will receive incoming goods, store products correctly, and pick and pack customer orders. You will load packages for shipment and make sure all items are processed accurately and safely. You will use handheld scanning devices to track inventory and orders. You will support testing and improving new warehouse processes during the launch phase. You will work closely with your team to meet daily operational targets while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Training and Onboarding
You will complete a five-week paid onboarding program at another Zalando logistics site. During this time, you will learn all processes from the ground up before starting work in Giessen. Zalando covers all travel and accommodation costs during this training period.
Who Can Apply
You must be willing to work in a three-shift system on a full-time basis. You should be physically fit, as the job requires standing and walking for long periods. You should be flexible and open to working in different warehouse areas and learning new skills. You must be a team player who enjoys working with people from many different backgrounds. You should work carefully and follow instructions. You must have basic communication skills in either German or English.
No formal education or warehouse experience is required. Zalando provides full training.

Zalando’s new Giessen logistics center is a state-of-the-art 130,000 square meter facility that will employ up to 1,700 people. From summer 2026, it will ship orders to customers across Germany and neighboring countries. It is part of Zalando’s European logistics network that serves more than 50 million customers in over 25 markets.
